| Gen5TM microplate data analysis software, version 1.02, from BioTek Instruments, Inc., provides significant new data reduction tools, including a five-parameter logistic fit, several weighing options, and curve constraint definition. New curve metrics include 95% confidence intervals, sum of squares, and degrees of freedom for more detailed results. Several experiment and protocol files have been added to the extensive sample files already available in the software. Protocols for critical assays can be opened and modified as necessary for rapid analyses with minimal setup. Custom summary results and/or detailed procedure and data reduction steps may be quickly printed or exported for one-step documentation of all experimental parameters. As the powerful operating system for all of the company's microplate readers, the software offers a clean and uncluttered interface with multiple options for access to the most common tasks. With increased speed, accuracy, and power, it maintains flexibility for the unique requirements and preferences of microplate instrumentation users. |
